International 9086. It is a very low loss, double shielded, high quality coaxial cable. 9086 is similar to Belden 9913 but has abetter braid coverage which is necessary for easy installation of coaxial connectors. This is the new International 9096 IIA coax. It is a top-of-the line, flexible 9913-type coax. Construction is excellent with a 19-strand center conductor. It bends as easily as conventional RG-8 or RG-213 and will handle the legal power limit even at UHF frequencies.

Recommendations

Useful for applications 50 MHz and up when the cable run is over 100 feet. RG-213 may be suitable for shorter runs. High performance HF installation will benefit from this cable if runs are over 200 feet.

Recommendations

All SuperCable applications. This coax is a must for crank-up towers and rotatable antennas in any installation where low loss cables are needed.

Attenuation

Per 100 feet @ 144 MHz is 1.3 dB. At 50 MHz it is 0.64 dB.

Connectors

PL-259 - Standard types, Silver/Teflon® and Gold/Teflon® recommended.

N types - Special 9913- style N-connectors are required, see connector section of this catalog.

.

As you can see from its specifications, its loss is similar to our 9096IIA, which is one of the best, low loss, coaxial cables available. It features a solid center conductor and a tough foamed-polyethylene dielectric. It's a perfect semi-solid dielectric alternative to ExtraFlex. This is your low cost alternative to other low loss cables. It is highly flexible for rotator loops, etc. and it is TRULY directly buriable due to its Polyethylene (not PVC) outer jacket. The low loss is due to the slight larger (vs. 9913) center conductor; flexible, high tech foam Polyethylene dielectric; and flexible polymer grade of polyethylene jacket.

Recommendations

All HF, VHF, and UHF installations. This coax is a substitute for ExtraFlex and may be used in any ExtraFlex application.

All SuperCable applications. This coax is a must for crank-up towers and rotatable antennas in any installation where low loss cables are needed.

Attenuation

Per 100 feet @ 144 MHz is 1.5 dB. At 50 MHz it is 0.9 dB.

Attenuation

Per 100 feet @ 200 MHz is 2.9 dB. At 50 MHz it is 1.1 dB.
