* Power rating is CW/SSB duty-cycle only. Not rated for AM, FM, RTTY or other high duty-cycle modes.

The CAROLINA WINDOM® 80 Special™ is a modified CAROLINA WINDOM® 40. There all of the information concerning the CW 40 applies to the CAROLINA WINDOM® 80 Special™. The performance is identical to the CAROLINA WINDOM® 40 on all bands from 40 - 10 meters. The compromise is on 80 meters. The CAROLINA WINDOM® 80 Special™ is designed to let you work 80, at reduced power, while not compromising performance on the other bands.
