LP is for "Low Profile." You've requested these for some time now and we finally have the correct ferrites to make 1/4 size baluns and Line Isolators. Power ratings are in the 100 - 500 watts range, but they are applicable to QRP and barefoot operation as well as usable with smaller linears. Some CAROLINA WINDOM models are available as LP models. New wire and coax types for 2007 New Super 240 is an RG-8X-like coax that's rated at 1.5 kW @ 30 MHz (SSB/CW, normal duty cycle). 100% shield with gas-injected foam dielectric. The CAROLINA WINDOM 40 PLUS It's tough to improve on an antenna that was used to set two world records for "miles-per-watt." We did it. The new CW 40 Plus has a brand new 18-foot vertical radiator, a new matching transformer and a new Line Isolator. The DX improvement is amazing. Depending on the propagation path, this antenna performs in the same class as the incredible SuperLoop 80. One fellow put one up and said that it is outperforming is beam.
